Health and wellness remain central to KUZA UPENDO WELFARE ASSOCIATION’s mission of uplifting communities. Recently, the organization held a free medical aid camp in Machakos County, offering essential healthcare services to residents who have limited access to medical facilities.

The one-day camp brought together volunteer doctors, nurses, and pharmacists who provided free consultations, screenings, and treatments. Services included general health checkups, dental care, and distribution of basic medication. Special attention was given to children and the elderly — groups most vulnerable to health challenges.

“We believe that access to healthcare is a basic right,” said the KUZA UPENDO program director. “Through such initiatives, we strive to reduce suffering and empower communities to live healthier lives.”

In addition to medical assistance, health education sessions were conducted on topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention. Residents expressed immense gratitude for the support, with many calling for more regular camps in rural areas.

This initiative reflects KUZA UPENDO’s ongoing effort to combine love and service in tangible ways — touching lives and inspiring hope through practical action.
