Our Story started With One Question

WHAT IF LOVE COULD BE MADE VISIBLE?

In many parts of Kenya, families faced severe struggles, children’s potential was limited by circumstances, and elders lacked support, while communities battled rising waste and hardship. In 2019, a movement was launched with determination to uplift families, ensure education for all children, and provide respect and care for elders, aiming to create a better future.

The Movement

Kuza Upendo Welfare was an association created to uplift Kenya’s most vulnerable communities through practical, lasting support. As a non-political, non-profit organization, we bring together teachers, healthcare workers, environmental advocates, and community organizers united by one mission: to make love actionable. We don’t believe in charity that fosters dependency; instead, we build partnerships that restore dignity. Rather than handouts, we create pathways, working alongside children, elders, families, and communities to spark lasting change that echoes across generations.

Our Causes
The Movement

01

Love in Action

Love isn’t just a feeling; it’s a decision, a commitment, a daily practice. Every meal served, every tree planted, every elder visited is love made visible.

02

Dignity for All

Every human being has inherent worth. Our programs are designed to honor that worth never to diminish it.

03

Environmental Stewardship

You can’t have healthy people without a healthy planet. Environmental restoration isn’t separate from our mission; it’s central to it.
