KUZA UPENDO WELFARE ASSOCIATION recently carried out a community outreach program in Kisumu dedicated to supporting and honoring the elderly. The initiative aimed to provide practical assistance, emotional support, and a renewed sense of belonging to senior citizens living in underserved areas.

During the visit, KUZA UPENDO volunteers delivered food parcels, hygiene products, and warm clothing to over 40 elderly individuals. The team also spent time engaging them in conversations, listening to their stories, and offering companionship that many of them deeply appreciated.

“Our elders are the pillars of our society — they deserve care, respect, and dignity,” said one of the volunteers. “Through this outreach, we wanted to remind them that they are valued and never forgotten.”

The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude as songs and prayers were shared. The event highlighted the organization’s holistic approach to welfare — not just providing physical support but also nurturing emotional well-being.
